Abu Dhabi Marathon

Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), have revealed the details of the course of the first ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon, that will be held next 7th of December 2018.

The two organizations have also announced that Emporio Armani EA7 will be the official technical sponsor of the event and have revealed the prize money for the winners of the competitions.

There will be two time trials, the 42.195 km and the 10 km, which will see the participation of professional runners of different age groups and different skill levels. Available for those interested, even newcomers and without any age limit, the 5 km and the 2.5 km races, an opportunity for everyone to take part in the event.

The marathon race will start at the ADNOC headquarters along the Corniche and continue towards the Emirates Heritage Village. The participants will then head to the Marina Mall, along the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street, arriving at the Qasr Al Hosn, one of the oldest and best preserved stone buildings in Abu Dhabi. The last part of the race will pass through Mina Zayed, before returning to the ADNOC site.
