Garmont presents its semi-crampable Ascent GTX boot, ideal for technical trails and via ferrata routes.

The footwear is designed to meet the needs of all mountaineers who need a model that is lightweight but also very stable.
The Ascent GTX boots are highly abrasion-resistant, thanks to a suede upper with microfiber overlays and rubber inserts on the toe and heel. The lacing of the shoe extends to the toe allowing for greater control.
The upper also features Gore-Tex Performance Comfort technology to protect the shoe from all weather conditions. The Ascent GTX also has a polypropylene footbed that provides more support and responsiveness on the ground, ensuring proper rigidity when using crampons.
Its Vibram Nepal sole, with a semi-filled heel and toe, ensures excellent performance especially when climbing – while the concave profile of the shoe increases its braking effect when descending.
