Banff Festival doesn’t stop

The international film festival dedicated to the world of mountain and outdoor sports makes available on the official website some of the films screened in recent years

The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, the international film festival dedicated to the world of adventure, mountain and outdoor sports, has also decided to cheer up these long days of quarantine.
A rich selection of films from past editions is available online at this link.
The list, the only official and constantly updated, is the result of the joint work between festivals and filmmakers, directors and athletes protagonists of the films.

“It is an opportunity to broaden with the mind the indoor spaces in which we are living – said Alessandra Raggio, CEO of Itaca, the company that in Italy curates, organizes and promotes the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour, the Ocean Film Festival and the Reel Rock Tour, who added – the eighth edition of the Italian tour has been suspended and postponed due to government regulations aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus. We have already rescheduled the remaining 28 screenings and we are sure that once we get through this long and difficult moment, they will be an important stimulus to return to our daily lives”.
