Bode Miller is the new SCARPA ambassador

The American downhill skier joins the Italian company for the launch of the new downhill ski boot.

Six Olympic medals, 33 World Cup races and 5 rainbow medals for the American athlete Bode Miller, who from this year joins the SCARPA Team. The skier, who made his debut at the Alpine Ski World Cup in 1997, will be an integral part of the company, continuing a collaboration that will not stop at sporting successes alone.

“Bode Miller has made sporting history and is considered a true skiing legend – underlines SCARPA President Sandro Parisotto. – […] being represented in the world by the strongest downhill skier of all time is an important step for us and we are convinced that together we can take a truly significant step forward […]”.

The athlete and the Asolo-based company are already working together on the launch of a new hybrid ski mountaineering boot, the 4-Quattro, designed for ski mountaineers looking for lightness and performance.

“From my point of view, the evolution of a sport goes hand in hand with the development of the equipment that is used – Miller underlines – This new collaboration is a natural choice for me: SCARPA can boast a long experience in the development of new products and I share its approach based on research and innovation, with a great attention to sustainability and performance. I am really excited to start this partnership and give my contribution to develop the company’s new projects”.

The product will be unveiled at Outdoor Retailer, the world’s largest outdoor trade show, from 26-28 January in Denver, and will be available on the market from autumn 2022.
