La Sportiva, company in the outdoor footwear and technical clothing sector, presents the new Spring / Summer 2022 collection with more than an eye to sustainability. Ecolution is a complex and demanding project, which requires long-term investments and involves every activity of the company. Reducing CO2 emissions represent the main objective of the company thus thanks to eco-friendly raw materials and a sustainable approach during the production phases.

Giulia Delladio, Corporate Marketing Director of La Sportiva, says: “Respect for the environment around us is part of our DNA. Environmental sustainability is one of the company’s pillars, the motivation that drives us to seek low-impact solutions capable of extending the life cycle of our products“.

Most of the items in the SS22 collection are made with the use of organic cotton, recycled or bio-degradable synthetic fabrics; in addition, plastic packaging is reduced.

For footwear, there are numerous measures to reduce the impact on the planet: from the Hiking TX HIKE line which uses 65% of recycled materials, to resoling which gives gives climbing boots and shoes a second life.

The new X-Cursion line, renewed with a sustainable perspective, is dedicated to those who love hiking, to those who together with performance choose to experience the mountains in an uncontaminated way.
