This shoe reveals a speed-oriented soul, equipped with a Keen All Terrain compound sole that expresses its maximum potential on compact surfaces and asphalt. Moving on trails that aren’t excessively demanding, the shoe responds excellently: the feeling of comfort is immediate and the structure promotes a fast and fluid gait. The ability to maintain stability even on more technical sections is surprising, where the shoe remains agile and light, allowing precise and rapid movements. However, the structural limit clearly emerges on muddy terrain. In these conditions, you can sense that the compound and tread pattern weren’t designed for soft ground: you’ll notice some slipping, although the shoe still manages to provide the necessary grip to handle descents with due caution. On the contrary, the compact foam of the midsole responds very well on rock, offering a stable, secure, and responsive support base. Ultimately, this shoe positions itself as an excellent choice for light hiking and for those who regularly frequent dirt roads or well-trodden trails. Thanks to the combination of compact cushioning and sole profile, the result is a fast and responsive shoe, capable of delivering its best where rhythm is needed. It’s the ideal companion for hikers seeking a hybrid product, performing well in transitions between urban contexts, dirt roads, and light outdoor use.
