Let’s start with the latest news: once again this year we’ve established ourselves as a reference point for the outdoor community in Italy with the Running & Outdoor Festival, full report in the mag pages.

Ready for the journey?

In the new issue you’ll find the story of the archaeological project by the Collections Typologie collective: an investigation that breaks down the tent into its fundamental elements to reconstruct its history, together with Ferrino.

Now that we’re equipped, we can set off.

We flew to the Canary Islands to experience the Gran Canaria Mizuno Experience with our Patrick De Lorenzi, who introduces us to the new trail shoe Mizuno Neo. The journey continued to the Bolivian Andes with the Cholitas Escaladoras: a high-altitude example of female emancipation. The next stop was Patagonia, with Stefano Ragazzo and his ascent of the legendary route Riders on the Storm. Finally, back to Italy to tell the story of Radda in Chianti and the Tour du Mont Blanc with Holger Meyer, busy mapping the best mountain bike trails.

The Pill 76 also gives voice to the people who make up the outdoor world through the report on the SCARPA Ice Days event, telling how the brand has become a true international community.

The issue is completed with stories from the world of running and ultra trail: Clara Donghi tells her story through her Marathon des Sables in Peru; Francesco Puppi describes what happens in an athlete’s mind during preparation; the interview with Dave Pen about the documentary Run Again reveals an intimate connection between running and music. Finally, we were guests of ACG in Oregon to get up close with All Conditions Gear products, right where they were born.

I've been following The Pill for a couple of years now; I found the copies in an outdoor shop, and every time a new print issue comes out, it's a ritual for me. This is about stories, people, and the philosophy of the mountains and travel.

The paper quality and photography are insane. It makes you want to drop everything, pack your bag, and head out. The section dedicated to athlete storytelling is beautiful, portraying them first as human beings and then as athletes. Highly recommended if you're looking for true inspiration.
