Ferrino’s Highlabs and Treklabs are back

Testing workshops for Ferrino’s best products are up and running at Quintino Stella Shelter (Highlab) and Toesca Shelter (Treklab)

Ferrino is happy to announce that, after a two-year hiatus, the testing program is restarting with the involvement of enthusiasts and final users. The set-up finished just a few months ago at the Quintino Stella Refuge (Monte Rosa’s Felik Pass, 3585 m), which will host technical tests of prototype tents, down bags, mats, backpacks and more.

“The feedback from users, starting this year,” explains Marco Chiaberge, Ferrino product manager, “will be collected through a practical and simple format uploaded to special digital devices, which will allow the data to be processed and compared by cross-referencing them with information on the weather and environmental conditions in which the tests took place.

In addition to the high-altitude camp, the test camp at Toesca Refuge, located at 1,710 meters in the mid-mountain environment of the Susa Valley, is also active this summer. Here, too, it will be possible to stay overnight in Ferrino’s best 3- and 4-season tents and try out products from the Lite line. In addition to the summer months, this camp will also be active in the coming winter season for testing HighLab products in winter conditions.

Not only development and research: with this project, Ferrino wants to promote the mountain territory and the facilities that host the camps. In addition, all those who have tried the HighLab experience will receive a personalized “HighLab Member” patch to be affixed to their backpack and will enter the Ferrino tester community, where they will be entitled to reserved discounts and dedicated previews.
