Fjällräven brings great online hiking with Fjällräven Classic TV

After the success of the episodes set in Germany and Denmark, this summer Fjällräven will broadcast four more editions of its famous outdoor event online. Destinations: China, Sweden, UK and USA.

This summer Fjällräven presents Fjällräven Classic TV, the response to the current situation dictated by the Covid-19 emergency to allow anyone to immerse themselves in an online trekking experience, taken from the trekker’s point of view. Fjällräven Classic TV will virtually transport viewers from all over the world to the locations of the great Fjällräven outdoor event.

Fjällräven Classic: global success

Fjällräven Classic is the outdoor event dedicated to trekkers who dream of exploring the wilderness of northern Sweden up close, backpacking and tenting. The original Classic concept was launched by Fjällräven in 2005 with the aim of encouraging more and more people to enjoy outdoor activities in contact with nature. Over the years, the event has become an annual gathering of over 2000 people from all over the world to walk the 110 km of the King’s Path, the Kungsleden, from Nikkaluokta to Abisko.

Over the years the event has grown rapidly, so much so that Fjällräven convinced Fjällräven to export it to Denmark as well. In 2016 Fjällräven Classic landed in the United States and in 2017 also reached Hong Kong. For 2020 Fjällräven had big plans: to take Fjällräven Classic to other countries and continents, with events already scheduled in Germany, the UK, China and South Korea. After the announcement of the new destinations, the brand had received incredible feedback from trekkers around the world and tickets sold out in a very short time.

The next episodes will be set in China, Sweden, the UK and the US, and broadcast live from July 30, 2020 on Fjällräven’s Youtube channel and the Fjällräven Classic website.
