Fly-Up Circuit Powered by SCOTT kicks off with Valzurio Trail

The 2023 trail running races are about to begin, and Bergamo is ready to host them. In particular, the traditional opening race of the season, La Valzurio Trail, organized by Mario Poletti’s Fly-Up Sport, will take place on April 29, 2023.

The route remains unchanged and proven: 23 kilometers and 1,300 meters of positive elevation gain among the forests and meadows of the valley, which rises on the slopes of Presolana, queen of the Orobie, along with the more modest Timogno, Ferrante, Ferrantino and Blum. Athletes will have to prepare for a long and challenging climb of about 6.5 kilometers in the woods immediately after the start, which is scheduled from the town square of Nasolino. Next, the race will touch several locations: Bricconi, Baita Crus, Colle Palazzo, Malga Campello, Baita Remescler, Baita Verzuda Bassa and Baite del Moschel. The last section will pass through the hamlet of Spinelli, Costa, Valzurio. The finish will be in the square in Nasolino. To finish the race and become a finisher, athletes will have a maximum time of 5 hours.
