Freeride World Tour: big lines and blue skies above Wildseeloder

This year’s Freeride World Tour is once again delivering performances and moments to remember. Stage IV took place in Fieberbrunn, the perfect location to continue the race for the 2023 world title. After a false start, the athletes faced one of the most technical and challenging descents of the entire tour.

Here’s what happened on this fourth stage of the Freeride World Tour on Wildseeloder.

Snowboard

American Jonathan Penfield (USA) succeeded in a very rapid descent, grabbing the first place. Ludovic Guillot-Diat (FRA) consolidated his leadership in the overall standings with a second place, followed by Liam Riviera (MEX) in third. For the women, however, Katie Anderson (CAN) took first place while Manuela Mandl (AUT) and Anna Orlova (RUS) finished second and third, respectively, with a strong performance.
