GREGORY PRAXUS AND PROXY
For autumn 2018, technical trekking and mountaineering pack specialist GREGORY, is launching two new travel packs. They combine their sophisticated suspension technology (gender- specific design) with the advantages of a travel pack. The well thought out partitioning makes it really easy to organise all your clothes, shoes, kit, phone, camera etc. The pack opens like a suitcase yet the suspension provides the comfort you’d expect from a full-blown backpack.
The new Adventure Travel Packs from GREGORY bring together the sophisticated suspension of a technical pack and the features of a cleverly organised travel suitcase. So, instead of feeling like you’re carrying some foreign object on your back, these packs feel more like a perfectly fitting shoe.
The backpanel opens out fully, so the contents are accessible just as they would be in a suitcase. The waterproof, dustproof and stinkproof, zippered “ActiveShield Compartment” prevents wet, dirty clothes, shoes and kit from mingling with your clean gear. The full-zip front compartment conceals an organisation panel for your mini ‘office’: multiple compartments for pens, notebooks and other bits and bobs, plus padded laptop and tablet sleeves. With a small zippered pocket on the top for your phone or money.
Clever little detail: When you pull the compression straps, the Flip Guard flexible compression panels protect the zippers on the front compartment. And the travel-ready suspension stows fully in a dedicated pocket. But this doesn’t stop it being a fully-functional, comfortable suspension system: The hipbelt is adjustable and padded, the shoulder harness contoured with multi-density padding. The backpanel is even length-adjustable in the large model. Shoes have their own space in a separate zippered compartment.
The men’s version Praxus comes in Indigo Blue and Pixel Black, the women’s version Proxy in Antigua Green and Mystic Grey. Both models come in a 45-litre and a 65-litre version.
