Helly Hansen: Freeride clothing more sustainable

Helly Hansen: Freeride clothing more sustainable

For the FW21/22, the Norwegian brand presents two new shells and a suit made of Life Infinity Pro, a technology that creates an excellent compromise between sustainability and performance.

Helly Hansen’s Life Infinity Pro technology is based on the Lifa Infinity microporous membrane (produced without chemical solvents) combined with an outer fabric made entirely from Lifa, a polypropylene fibre (a hydrophobic material that does not require DWR water repellent treatment). As a result, Helly Hansen has obtained its own water-repellent, waterproof and breathable laminated fabric, including dye that does not generate waste water, thus saving resources and energy.

One year after the launch of the Life Infinity Pro technology, Helly Hensen wanted to extend its use to the Ullr Freeride collection; the line includes the men’s Elevation Infinity 2.0, the women’s Elevation Infinity Shell Jacket and the Chugach Infinity Powder Suit.

Elevation Infinity 2.0 Jacket
The heir to the Elevation Infinity Shell Jacket, it was designed in collaboration with Aurelien Ducroz and Matthias Hargin. It features the Life Pocket+, a pocket with Primaloft Aerogel padding which protects the smartphone from the cold and conserves the battery.
