“Kilian Jornet has been a part of the Salomon world for almost 10 years. During this time, he has achieved some of his greatest accomplishments and has become arguably the greatest mountain runner in the history of the sport. Alongside his help raising the bar in the outdoor gear industry by co-developing our S/LAB range, Kilian has also become a longtime friend to Salomon and its employees. With his recent retiring announcement from the trail running scene, it’s time for us to give back to Kilian.

Using the technology and our knowledge in developing high-end carbon ski poles, we’ve been working for the last few months to transpose this experience into a groundbreaking technology to create an S/LAB Carbon Fishing Rod that will allow Kilian to stay fast and light while pursuing his new passion.”
