Korua presents Morgan Maassen‘s new short film called IIXI or “Eleven By One”
Korua is again making waves with Eleven By One (or IIXI), a short film directed by established filmmaker Morgan Maassen. Eleven By One is fragmented into eleven parts of one minute each, every part usable individually but at the same time designed to fit into a larger project. Each video was curated to encapsulate and tell a cohesive story of a winter spent filming in the snow with the Korua team.
A celebration of the style, curves, surroundings, and emotions that characterize the snowboarding universe from the brand’s perspective. Morgan’s storytelling succeeds in telling an intimate and reflective view of Korua’s way of experiencing snowboarding, the environment, the characters that make up the team, and their different approaches to snowboarding in the Alps.
