After adding the Trango Tech to its 2019 line, La Sportiva continues the expansion of the faithful Trango series with an elegant Nubuck version, the perfect combination of classic materials and modern aesthetics. Trango Tech Leather can be considered as s backpacking boot, designed for alpine hiking, perfect for technical approaches and working uses of rescuers and guides, where longlasting comfort is required.

The upper, with a clean design, combines high quality leathers with protective microfibre inserts with seams reduced to a minimum to increase waterproofing. The tongue, integrated with side gussets, wide in the excursion, is made of soft elastic fabric that guarantees maximum wearing comfort, enhanced by the ergonomic shape and by the enveloping fit. Inside you can appreciate the precise volumes, specially in the forefoot, and the equally precise and comfortable accommodation of the heel. The closure system, which compared to the anti-abrasion fabric version loses the toe lacing, is rather simple but effective, with loops that reduce weight, and a single hook on the top. The elastic tension on the side is part of the 3D Flex system, an innovative multidirectional joint that facilitates support control, freeing the ankle without losing stability. Compatible with semi-automatic crampons, the low-density polyurethane anti-shock midsole with protective PU-Skin reduces the impact with the ground and promotes prolonged use. It is rather stiff laterally, it flexes well longitudinally, making walking easier than in other models.

The La Sportiva Cube by Vibram sole adopts the Impact Brake System with different thickness studs that help the braking and traction phase. Sole/midsole have a contained profile with lightened thicknesses that allow you to reduce weight and give greater technical capacity. Trango Tech Leather is a perfect crossover between mountaineering and backpacking, suitable for long backpacker walks. It can cover demanding distances in an alpine environment without being unprepared in the technical trails.
