La Sportiva unveils the new TX2 Evo
TX2 Evo is the lightest shoe in La Sportiva’s approach Traverse X series. New features include the use of Resole Platform technology.
A new shoe joins La Sportiva’s approach Traverse X collection: the TX2 Evo. This shoe is the lightest in the collection, providing excellent grip and high protection. The seamless upper is made of knit fabric with recycled yarn with differentiated elasticity, integrated with PU tech-Lite inserts on the toe and heel to ensure greater protection. In addition to the upper fabric, the laces, Ortholite Hybrid Approach footbed and part of the midsole EVA are also made from recycled and vegan friendly materials. In addition, TX2 Evo uses the Vibram IdroGrip sole with climbing zone, designed to allow maximum grip on technical terrain.
The tread is resolable, an important innovation for the approach series; in fact, until now the only resolable footwear in La Sportiva’s house involved only the mountaineering and climbing lines. This practice doubles the life cycle of the footwear and uses materials with a large percentage of recycled components.
