Jean-Pierre Millet and Inspiring Sport Capital have finally concluded the acquisition of Millet – Mountain Group (MMG), which is now called Millet & Co

Millet Mountain Group announces the completion of the acquisition by Jean-Pierre Millet together with Inspiring Sport Capital. The announced goal is to accelerate sustainable development and omnichannel distribution, with the aim of increasing the potential of the group’s two brands, Lafuma and Millet. Centennial brand, pioneer in technical equipment for the practice of mountain sports in France, Millet has become over the decades the expert brand in verticality.

“I am delighted to become a major shareholder of Millet Mountain Group in partnership with Inspiring Sport Capital in the year that marks the brand’s centenary and almost 50 years after the family left it. We will accelerate the international development of Millet and Lafuma, two brands emblematic of the mountain and outdoor universe.” said Jean-Pierre Millet of the acquisition.

The man will accompany his grandson Romain Millet in the management of the entire business, appointed in 2020 as general manager of the group, which has consolidated his experience in Lafuma for eight years.
