New TORX 2022 poster unveiled
After the year of freedom, author Bongiorni chooses the allegory of restarting.
TORX is a complex cog in the wheel of athletes, volunteers, route setters, the public and the media, and it is this cog that inspired Francesco Bongiorni to create the poster for the 2022 edition of TORX, which will be held from 9 to 18 September.
“It is an allegory for the people, both technical and skilled, who are putting in place the last fundamental elements so that the competition can take place. I wanted to leave shadows and colours to give the moment a certain suspension and solemnity, in order to make the moment before the start electric and adrenalinic”, says Bongiorni during the February presentation.
The collaboration between VDA Trailer and Bongiorni is therefore renewed, thanks to the great affinity and sharing of values that fuel the competition.
The poster has also been selected for the Society of Illustrators award exhibition in New York and is currently on display in Manhattan.
