FACE THE COLD WITH NIKE RUN UTILITY COLLECTION
There’s really no reason for not running when it’s cold. And the data collected since the launch of the App Nike Run Club (NRC) confirm it: more and more people choose to run even when the days are shorter, the temperatures are lower or worse, it rains.
The important thing is never forget the law of the 10°C: the body temperature perceived when you run is about 10°C higher than the real one and therefore you have to dress accordingly, covering yourself more the lower the temperature.
That’s why Nike created Nike Run Utility, a collection of clothes and shoes to help runners tackle the elements and respond to the needs of performance, visibility and comfort of the winter season.
Four new models of shoes, all in winter version and suitable for extreme weather conditions: Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35 Shield, Nike Odyssey React Shield, Nike Free Run Shield 2018 and Nike Vapormax Shield.
New reflective details, an increased resistance to water and improved breathability are the elements studied to guarantee the right protection against the cold, without renouncing the flexibility of the movements and the design of the lines.
