Nike together with trail running athletes for the Like Us project

Nike supported its Italian Trail Running athletes, Cesare Maestri and Francesco Puppi in the Come Noi – Like us event held on Saturday July 18th in Madonna di Campiglio (TN), in the perfect setting of the Brenta Dolomites.

Like us is an exploration of the freer and more spontaneous side of outdoor and mountain sports in which the two Nike Trail athletes, with the support of Campiglio Dolomiti, have marked the FKT (Fastest Known Time) from Madonna di Campiglio to Cima Tosa (3173 m) and back: 31km and 2100 m of positive altitude difference to reach one of the most iconic and spectacular peaks of the place.

The route was covered in an incredible total time of 3h 28′ 26″, marking the new record officially recognized by the Italian Skyrunning Federation.

To accomplish the feat, the athletes wore the new Nike Pegasus Trail 2, the durable, responsive and versatile model of Trail Running shoes with soft cushioning and strong traction. Completing the running look is the new Nike Trail technical apparel collection.
