Orvis presents the new Pro Approach Shoe with Michelin sole

From 16 to 18 October, Orvis, the leading American brand specialized in fly fishing, will be present in Denver, USA, at the International Fly Tackle Dealer Show, the largest international gathering of dealers and fans of fly fishing. After the great success of the model “Pro wading Boots”, the first style born from the partnership with Michelin, Orvis chose this appointment to present the new “PRO approach shoe” exclusive model always co-designed with the French company.

The new PRO Approach Shoe by Orvis with Michelin soles has been designed for long walks on wet and slippery paths, or on particular surfaces, such as those of boats. The Michelin rubber sole, inspired by Michelin tyres, offers exceptional traction in the wet, ensuring a 43% better grip on rocks, slippery trails and while sailing. In fact, Tom Rosenbauer – PRO Approach Shoe Field Tester testimonial–  after testing the shoe for long hours of fishing, he defined the sole of this shoe as the absolute best, Comparing its traction capacity to spiked soles.  The upper is in mesh, seamless with PU cage to ensure the elimination of water. The shoe is lightweight at the same time very durable, thanks to the scratch-resistant rubber of the toe. The integrated Ariaprene sock prevents debris from entering the shoe and protects the ankle. The X-25 3D Ortholite removable insole ensures maximum support and comfort. The midsole is made of Phylon. The laces are covered with a protection to prevent tearing and abrasion, and the integrated lace cap allows you to fasten them easily.

This event offers participants the opportunity to take a direct look at all the latest equipment, clothing and accessories for fly fishing, learn strategies to grow your business and increase your customer base through seminars held by industry leaders.
