Patagonia Camp in Valsassina

Patagonia Camp in Valsassina

To present their flagship model, the Micro Puff Hoody jacket, highly performing and innovative, Patagonia decided to don’ t make the usual press day, but to organize two days in a fantastic mountain location that was in tune with the American brand, I’m talking about the Rifugio Ratti Cassin at Piani di Bobbio in Valsassina. Two days of sport, fun, lots of laughter and good music, excellent music; all seasoned by the belgian climber Nicolas Favresse who entertained us along with the two alpine guides, with his voice and his inseparable guitar. It could not be chosen a better place, from the shelter in fact we could observe very well the Grigna massif, mountain dear to the Lecco inhabitants for its long mountaineering history. To reach the crag, which was a couple of hours walking from the shelter, together with other journalists from the same field, I was able to test this fantastic Patagonia product. Ultra light and anti-wind, it protected me from the pungent and crisp air of the early hours, keeping me warm thanks to the revolutionary padding PlumaFill that replicates the structure of the feather thanks to an innovative synthetic insulating material, which keeps you warm even if wet.
