FIGHT COLD WITH THE NEW BASELAYER CAPILENE AIR BY PATAGONIA

For the next winter Patagonia is presenting a revolutionary news: the new Capilene Air base layer are the ideal first layer for those who aspire to obtain maximum warmth without sacrificing comfort.

Capilene Air, made with a blend of eco-sustainable merino wool from New Zealand and recycled polyester, are undoubtedly the most advanced base layers that Patagonia has ever made. Available in the crew version or with hood, the garments regulate the temperature in contact with the skin in a wide range of climatic conditions: these products are therefore excellent on the snow, but also versatile and adaptable to any type of outdoor activity that requires a additional heat input.

CAPILENE AIR HOODY/CAPILENE AIR CREW

Made with an airy blend of 51% merino wool from New Zealand and 49% recycled Capilene polyester, Capilene Air is light, soft on the skin, flexible and relaxes naturally following the movements of the body. The soft 18.5 micron yarns are created with an innovative blown-air technology that increases the softness of the fibers to unprecedented levels, reducing at the same time the weight compared to the traditional wool yarn. The seamless 3D structure eliminates the areas subject to rubbing throughout the garment and produces minimal processing waste. The soft and elastic knitting of the cuffs and hem keeps the garment close to the body, adding supreme comfort on the skin for constant use, day after day. The design of this hooded sweater boasts a high collar integrated to the cap without seams, with anatomical line to give extra heat and is able to trap the heat and facilitate the circulation of air.

CAPILENE AIR BOTTOMS

Capilene Air Bottoms are characterized by elasticized parts without the stitching with a wide waist, for an optimal softness on the skin, and by the zig zag stitching with specific texture (the different female model compared to the male one) which traps the heat inside and facilitates air circulation.
