PATAGONIA’S ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISM COMES TO MILAN

Patagonia has chosen the city of Milan to spread its mission.

The Pill Magazine will be present with an event for the special issue of the outdoor magazine, entirely dedicated to the Californian brand.

To change the idea that business and the protection of the planet are the opposite, Patagonia, an outdoor company well known for its environmental activism, launches in Milan a campaign for consumers and companies to raise awareness of the environment. The project will be divided into different events that will take place from 4th to 14th of October.

The Californian company has always adopted an alternative business model aimed at protecting the environment, every decision taken reflects the company mission: “Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis”, a claim that from October 1st will also be posted in the form of murals in Ripa di Porta Ticinese 39 in Milan, where can be seen from everyone.

“Milan is a progressive city in which outdoor sports, design, creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation are mixed”, says Ryan Geller, Patagonia General Manager EMEA, “is the home to many different communities, many of whom share the love for outdoor sports, uncontaminated places and are committed to minimizing the impact of human activities on the planet. We hope to inspire other people with our Mission and be inspired by the creative energy, natural beauty and environmental activism of Milan”.
