Patrol Ultralight E2 25, Scott’s airbag backpack
A lightweight and durable airbag backpack for the best and safest way to tackle any adventure
Scott’s new Airbag Patrol Ultralight E2 25 backpack is a mix of technology, safety and comfort with a weight of 1920g and size of 25L. The backpack, unveiled at ISPO 2023, is equipped with Alpride E2 Air bag System technology, which offers a hybrid electric-mechanical airbag system driven and powered by a series of super capacitors.
In terms of materials, the backpack is designed with a Dyneema fabric and is extremely durable as well as ultralight, features needed for those high-altitude adventures where weight savings and safety make all the difference. It is also equipped with all the accessories for carrying mountaineering equipment: a ski rack, two pike holders, a helmet attachment net and space to arrange Arva, shovel, probe and first aid kit. The end result is a freeskiing backpack so light it almost feels like you’re not wearing it! The backpack will be available from the sales network from autumn 2023.
