Picture launches Backcountry Touring line

Picture’s new collection includes jackets, pants and backpacks for ski mountaineering

Picture has created a new line completely dedicated to ski mountaineering, called Backcountry Touring. A series of garments designed to cope with cold weather and big snowfalls, while keeping an eye on style and, above all, respect for the environment. In fact, Picture makes its products with 80 percent eco-friendly materials, from organic cotton to recycled or naturally sourced polyester.

Broader Jacket
A men’s jacket made with three-layer construction; uses 46% recycled polyester and Teflon EcoLite repellent treatment without the use of PFCs. Features waterproof zippers, removable snow skirt, goggle wipe cloth, pants connection system, and pockets including ski pass pocket.

Sylva Jacket
Equivalent of the Broader Jacket but with a structure designed specifically for the female form.

Other products include the Lorado glove made of Polartec Power Stretch and 84% recycled polyester combined with spandex and the BP22 Backpack made of 100% recycled polyester.
