Pink free-touring with the Lange XT3Tour Pro and Sport

Two boots designed specifically for the morphology of the female foot

Whether the goal is to explore or ski in fresh snow, climbing with skins is always synonymous with freedom. For the winter season 2022/23 Lange launches the free-touring boots in the female version of XT3 Tour and Sport. With these lightweight four-hook boots, Lange is able to satisfy those girls who love ski touring but don’t want to give up the pleasure of getting down. For XT3 Tour W Pro the weight is contained in just 1380 grams thanks to the Grilamid shell – a very light thermoplastic material – and the Lyfran cuff. XT3 Tour W Sport is made of polyurethane and has a Lyfran cuff too. Both shoes have a last of 99mm , but the Pro has a flex of 115, while the Sport drops to 95 thus remaining suitable for female skiers with less physical strength. The mobility of the cuff reaches 53, thanks to the new EVA liner with bending points designed for ski mountaineering use. The grip necessary to walk is guaranteed by the Vibram sole in accordance with ISO9523. In addition, the lady version of the XT3 Tour has an ideal rocker to easily walk with skis on the backpack, when it is not possible to continue with the skins under the skis. Another mechanism that promotes walking is the Active Power V-Lock, which unlocks the cuff when climbing and gives stiffness when descending. Compared to the corresponding men’s boots, XT3 Tour Pro and XT3 Tour Sport, the women’s versions are designed to perfectly adapt to the female morphology: they have a shortened cuff and wider at the calf.
