Puma re-launches the iconic Cell technology

During the visible running technology boom in the 90s PUMA presented PUMA CELL Technology, one of the most durable cushioning technologies ever made. Twenty years later, the Global Sports Brand celebrates it by relaunching a classic from the PUMA Archive: the CELL Endura.

In 1998 PUMA introduced the first iteration of CELL technology for stable cushioning. The stability came from the puffed polyurethane elastomer (TPU) that was configured in a model of hexagonal cells. The combination of the cells made it possible to design the cushioning and solve the needs of the runners. CELL Endura was PUMA’s flagship model in the CELL range and today, with the return of the 1990s, OG reappears in its best form on the eve of the twentieth anniversary of PUMA CELL.

With its distinctive eyelets, a sturdy silhouette and the CELL Technology green, CELL Endura has remained faithful to the glorious OG, updated exclusively with new materials and new production techniques. CELL Endura keeps the technical details of the original model unaltered along with the rubber toecap plus an exclusive eyelet for the laces.

The original CELL Endura was hand-stitched, but this version has evolved with the times and features digital stitching, the upper in breathable mesh with outer layers in suede and leather upholstery, EVA midsole and rubber sole.

The new CELL Endura will be available, starting Thursday, October 4th, on the PUMA.COM website, in the PUMA Stores and in selected sneakers retailers.
