Rab: awards shower with Skyline collection
Awards and prizes for collection focused on mountain running
British outdoor brand Rab has received major awards with regard to the brand and products in its Skyline mountain running range. In fact, the latest Trail Running UK Awards awarded Rab as “Sustainable Brand of the Year” and the Windveil Pull-On jacket as “Top of the Year.” This is an important endorsement for Rab’s ambitious sustainability strategy, which aims to become carbon neutral by 2030, without in any way compromising on the quality and performance of its products.
Andy Schimeck, Global Sales Director at Equip, explains: “The relaunch of our Skyline range this summer has been a great success across all markets and we feel honoured that this has also been recognised by some prestigious industry and media awards. We’re already excited to further push the boundaries of developing highly technical equipment and kit for all mountain-related activities whilst at the same time continuing our journey to reach Net Zero by 2030.”
In addition to the aforementioned awards, the Phantom Pull-On women’s jacket also won an award: the Women’s Running Product award 2022. In addition, the Kinetic Ultra jacket won Outside Magazine’s “Best for Trail Running” award. For fall/winter 22, Rab has further expanded the Skyline line, introducing new garments such as the Stormveil Windstopper jacket and Talus Windstopper tights featuring Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper technology.
