Rab’s Mythic G down jacket receives ISPO award
The well-known British brand Rab has received the ISPO Award for its new Mythic G Jacket, ideal for mountaineering activities in the most extreme environments, available on the market from autumn/winter 2023.
The product we are talking about is the Mythic G Jacket down jacket, a garment that is part of the Mythic collection designed to support athletes at high altitudes and low temperatures . The ISPO award is intended to celebrate its exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio in particular. Rab, now the “Master of Insulation,” combines ultralight 1000FP down and 7D fabric with TILT technology in the Mythic G jacket to provide shelter from cold, water and wind, keeping the wearer in the ideal condition to continue their high-altitude adventure. 13% lighter than the previous version (weighs an average of 277g), it is stuffed with 10% more down ensuring an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio without compromising performance and protection.
As the ISPO award jury states: “The Rab company artfully expresses the concept of insulation in its products. Extremely warm, extremely light and at the same time super durable and ‘packable’: This jacket is for climbers who count every gram and want all the warmth they can get without being penalized by weight.” The Mythic G is intelligently designed and equipped with all the must-have features.
