ASICS today launched a new global campaign highlighting the power of sports in helping women manage daily stress.

The campaign celebrates the launch of the new NAGINO collection and emphasizes the positive influence that movement can have on women’s mental state. The campaign was created in response to the ASICS 2022 State of Mind Index study, which revealed that women engage in less physical activity than men globally, and as a result, their mental well-being is lower.

In a world where stress and anxiety levels are high, ASICS ‘ campaign highlights the relaxing power of sports on the mind by contrasting the sound of short breaths, as in times of stress, with the sound of controlled, rhythmic breaths, as during training. The new NAGINO collection is designed by women for women, with the goal of helping the wearer find inner calm through movement. Each garment is specially made to feel comfortable and move comfortably during physical activity.

Martina Jurcova, Product Line Specialist at ASICS, adds, “We know that nothing frees the mind like sports, and so the new line is designed to ensure that women have a completely distraction-free activity, so that the only things she has to focus on are herself and the workout sessions.”

ASICS believes that all minds have the right to benefit from movement to achieve aHealthy Soul In Corpore Sano. For this reason, the company is committed to the Move Every Mind project to address inequalities in sports and contribute to mental and physical well-being.

ASICS is currently conducting a global live study to better understand the environmental and social barriers that prevent women from participating in sports and to identify solutions to help them.
