Salewa: trekking in respect of nature
The South Tyrol company presented its trekking collection for summer 2022 respectful of nature and people
Salewa has always been committed to the tradition of trekking, and this year the South Tyrolean brand has used its long experience in this field to launch a new line that is light, strong and durable. Many of the new products carry the Salewa Committed label, which certifies compliance with strict social (such as ensuring fair working conditions) and environmental standards.
Among the trekking products with the Salewa Committed label that have most impressed us are:
Alptrek 38 + 5
An adjustable carrying system that boasts Salewa’s Dry Back Custom with EVA construction and 3D micro-ventilation channels to keep your back cool and dry at all times. Designed specifically for women’s ergonomics, it features several trekking solutions such as an ice axe attachment, daisy-chain and rope holder.
Puez Hemp Tunica e Puez Hemp Cargo Shorts
Lightweight, soft and quick-drying women’s garments, they are definitely stronger than they look. Both have a percentage of hemp (39% for the Puez Hemp Tunica and 55% for the Puez Hemp Cargo Shorts) which ensures effective temperature regulation.
Pure Dolomites Hemp T-shirt
Men’s T-shirt made entirely of hemp and cotton, it is light and soft. Again, temperature regulation and quick drying are guaranteed by the use of hemp.
Puez DST Cargo Shorts
Lightweight, robust and resistant to water and wet conditions thanks to the PFC-free water-repellent finish. Made with an added 4-way stretch fabric that follows even the widest movements.
