Saucony sponsors the Dolomites Saslong Half Marathon
On Saturday, June 11, the fourth edition of the half-marathon will take place in the setting of the Sassolungo massif in Val Gardena.
This Saturday, Saucony will support the Saslong Half Marathon in Val Gardena: 21 km on dirt, gravel and rocky trails and tracks with an elevation gain of 900 meters. It has been a long time since the American brand has been involved in the trail sector, particularly in 2022 where it has decided to develop more products and support sports events that share the same values.
“Running in natural environments while challenging your limits and enjoying the surrounding landscape is what we love to do. We’ve always wanted to inspire runners on a daily basis to lace up their shoes and tackle the trails without qualms, whether it’s companionable walks in the mountains or extreme solo runs” comments Thomas Lorenzi Tech Rep at Saucony. “We want to be the tools to make these moments memorable, which is why our R&D department is constantly working to innovate the proposals. The many events on the calendar that we are sponsoring this year will be an opportunity for sharing and community as well as one more moment to get to know and test our shoes.”
Among Saucony’s new additions on the trail product side, we see the Xodus Ultra designed for ultra distances, with a 6mm drop and designed to provide maximum comfort with every step.
