Between April 26th and 30th, SCARPA supervised and produced in Iceland an initiative that saw as guests the mountaineer Hervé Barmasse, ambassador of the Brand, and the actresses Fiammetta Cicogna and Matilde Gioli for more than a weekend dedicated to sport and adventure. All, together with the new FW22 collection by SCARPA.

The event lasted 4 days and was held in Iceland, a landscape rich in natural beauty. Its name? SCARPA Iceland Women Experience, an initiative promoted in collaboration with Gore-Tex, with the aim of transmitting the values of the brand.

The concept of the event revolves around “no place too far”. SCARPA has been dealing with sports equipment since its beginnings, studying the way clothing adapts to the human body, to improve comfort and freshness performances in athletic and competitive contexts.

The actresses Cicogna and Gioli measured themselves with outdoor activities mainly related to the peculiarities of the territory and to do so, following the guidance of Hervè Barmasse, they tested the models of the FW22 collection, such as the new ski mountaineering boots F1 WMN that improve the athlete’s resistance during ascents.

Next, the Ribelle Run GTX trail running shoe was also tested, mainly suitable for short to medium distances. Subsequently, the Rush Polar GTX, ideal footwear for low temperatures, generally used on snow as with snowshoeing. Then came the time of the Moscalito TRK GTX, specially designed for long distances. Finally, the Mojito GTX, which like the other shoes is characterized by the Gore-Tex membrane that guarantees waterproofing even in the rain.
