SCARPA Women’s Trail
Scarpa, an Asolo company among the world leaders in the production of mountain footwear and outdoor activities, organizes the first edition of Women’s Trail for Delicious Festival Dolomiti.
The event, which will take place in Cortina D’Ampezzo on September 21st 2019, will be the first trail entirely dedicated to the female world, with which Scarpa intends to leave the imprint with an appointment in pink and with an outdoor character.
The Women’s Trail program will unfold in a 7 km course with 100/150 meters of positive gradient and will be open to all women who want to measure themselves with the wonderful setting of the Dolomites, from the most trained, to any mountain lovers.
A non-competitive trail, which will start from the PalaDelicious in the Pocol area, will proceed in the Valle d’Ampezzo and has two truly inviting stops to give an unforgettable taste to the experience: the first to Malga Peziè de Parù, the second to Baita Resch, where the chefs of the refuges will prepare special refreshments to be savored and enjoyed overlooking the Dolomites.
Scarpa’s Women’s Trail is part of the Delicious Festival Dolomiti program and reinforces its original spirit linked to sport and local food and wine. The L5T Sport Amateur Sports Association, organizes on the 20th and 21st of September 2019, the Delicious Festival Dolomiti, a sporting, cultural and gastronomic event dedicated to sport and fun, with the aim of enhancing the historical and natural heritage, mountaineering and food and wine of Cortina d’Ampezzo.
An event that the Asolo company wants to enhance following its entrepreneurial and innovative style through an initiative totally dedicated to women. The aim of the initiative will also be to unite towards a common goal: to raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer, by supporting ADOS – Association of Women Operated on the Breast Section of Cortina – Cadore – Comelico.
Scarpa’s Women’s Trail will be the first edition of a pink trail also for Cortina d’Ampezzo, one of the most loved and iconic tourist destinations in Italy. A first step that consolidates the constantly growing trend in the number of women who play sports and does so with continuity, and that commits the Veneto tourist resort to a new project in the trail scene.
Registrations for the first Scarpa Women’s Trail are officially open from September 1st 2019 on the website www.delicioustrail.it. The cost of participation is € 20.00 and part of the proceeds will be donated to the ADOS – Association of Women Operated on the Breast Section of Cortina – Cadore – Comelico.
