Strava acquires Fatmap and its 3D mapping technology

Strava makes its digital experience even more immersive and intuitive with the introduction of Fatmap‘s 3D mapping technology.

Strava, a platform that has now become popular in the outdoor community, has announced the acquisition of Fatmap, the app for discovering, planning, navigating and recording one’s outdoor adventures. In fact, Fatmap has developed a global 3D mapping technology that will be enabled across all Strava services, giving people the ability to discover and plan their outdoor adventures with local guides, points of interest and safety info. Strava‘s investment is aimed at providing a digital experience with ever-increasing quality to inspire and motivate even more of its community to enjoy the outdoors in the midst of sporting activity.
