With the new Terrex lines, in the last two years, adidas has entered the trail sector with the strength of high quality materials, starting with the excellent Continental compound and with a modern design. Agravic Flow has a relatively low weight, just 320 grams in the men’s version and 280 in the women’s one, that is offset by a very lightweight Lightstrike sole, a foam that can be found in the new Agravic line, well known for its elastic and lightweight response, at the expense of the cushioning capacity. The structure of the upper is very light and slightly more elastic and structured than the mesh used on other models such as Speed Ultra, reinforced here by the TPU molds on the Toe Box and on the midfoot. The fit is very precise and snug on the whole foot, thanks to a poor flexion and torsion of the compound of the sole. The Continental rubber outsole works great in any situation without losing durability, and it remains one of the compounds with the best grip/durability ratio on the market. The lacing is traditional, the tongue is thin enough not to weigh down the shoe, a concept that is also found in the design of the heel which is moderately structured. We liked it on all terrains, preferably technical ones where a rigid sole and grip on rock are required. It is a shoe suitable for runners with good running biomechanics, able to exploit the propulsive capabilities of the Lightstrike sole and able to keep the shoes on their feet for many hours.
