Elan Ripstick this year becomes Elan Ripstick Tour, a new ski, designed to float better on fresh snow, ski faster and more easily. These skis appear graphically similar to the Elan freeride line, but let’s not be mistaken: they are skis devoted to lightness and that perfectly combine downhill performance and climbing capacity. At the heart of the Ripstick Tour construction there is the Carbon Bridge Technology: an innovation that sees a single carbon shaft positioned on the top of the ski, in order to ensure stability at high speeds and at the same time absorb vibrations in variable snow, limiting the overall weight of the ski. This in terms of skiing translates into great stability and a fast response to the slightest movement. In addition to the Carbon Bridge, we have the ACE Arrow Technology, an arrow-shaped Titanal structure to best transfer power. In this way the ski reacts quickly and is controlled well. Furthermore, you have the feeling of having a very light ski under the feet, because there is less material in the tip and in the tail. The 94mm size makes it a model to use in all conditions, from fresh snow rides in winter to spring trips, where lightweight and stability of skiing on variable snow dictate the law. A really well thought out, modern ski, attentive to the needs of the skier who wants to enjoy the descent to the fullest without unnecessary weights on the way up.

We Like: Weight/skiability ratio, stability and vibration absorption.
