Test: Lizard Super Trek

We tested the Super Trek sandal on a multi-day summer tour: a situation in which having such a model, as the only shoe or to be alternated with boots, is a cure-all for the foot. The adjustable straps in spacer mesh gives absolute comfort because they adapt the size perfectly to the instep making the sandal comfortable and breathable, but also ensuring a precise and secure fit, also the double velcro closure with locking buckle is a guarantee. Walking in the mountains on challenging trails with sandals is not a problem in itself, but the footwear must satisfy precise guarantees: in this sense the Trek midsole, with its 8mm progressive drop, and the reactive and recycled EVA footbed ensure that the walk is both safe and cushioned. Support, grip and comfort are the pillars around which this shoe has been built and we found it adequate even on rough and challenging terrains thanks to the protective Vibram Eco Step tread. Wide on the heel, these sandals are stable and give excellent vibes regarding the solidity of the walk thanks to the shaped EVA footbed, the textured surface instead ensures extra grip and a comfortable fit. Lightweight is clearly the strong point of this sandal, which does not reach three ounces of weight and is also ideal to be carried with you as a second shoe. Lizard takes care of its products down to the smallest detail, its shoes are perfect for outdoor activities, but also for more leisure situations or for long journeys.
