Test: Mizuno Wave Skyrise 3
A long slow distance running shoe with Mizuno Enerzy technology
The Japanese company launched the third version of Wave Skyrise, a long slow distance running shoe even more comfortable and cushioned. Mizuno Wave Skyrise is an A2 shoe suitable for slow paces and for runners looking for support and cushioning. It features a combined midsole: Mizuno Enerzy along the entire midsole, Mizuno Wave and U4icX positioned in the heel area to provide stability and cushioning. It has a classic Mizuno wave design, a fairly stiff foam that compensates for the compression of the internal cushion on impact. The upper part of the shoe instead follows a classic structure, with a stretch and breathable mesh in the upper, a traditional lacing and a heel counter that increases stability in heel support. We recommend it for beginners, who run one to three times a week and are looking for a comfortable and protective roll.
