If there is one thing that the guys from Picture, three French friends who are passionate about skateboarding and snowboarding who have decided to channel their passions into a brand, know how to do well, is to create technical but aesthetically beautiful products. Abstral jacket, in particular, is a 2.5-layer stretch shell that can count on the exclusive Dryplay 10K/10K membrane, waterproof and breathable, produced in house by Picture. Another of the brand’s fundamental assets is attention to sustainability: in all of their products they strive to use either organic fibers such as certified cotton, or recycled or bio-based materials. Abstral jacket is in fact eco-designed and can count on recycled polyester and a DWR Teflon EcoElite finish without PFC. The seams are also fully taped while the flap and reflective details are integrated. As for the fit, this shell is super comfortable because it is made entirely of stretch fabric while the cuffs are adjustable and offer an excellent fit combined with a freedom of movement that is not so obvious to find in jackets of this type, which are often quite rigid. The latest magic of Abstral is the fact that it is very light and made with a manageable fabric, it folds into its own pocket, a solution that makes it an excellent ally to always carry it around with you.
