It is a serious ski for serious skiers. It satisfies the most demanding athlete by offering excellent performance on hard pack and steep slopes. Definitely a model that winks at those who prefer the descent.

It follows the geometry of its older brothers Stelvio and Gavia, but with a much more rigid and resistant structure. Instead, it remains more docile than Magico.2 and Maestro.2.
It performs really well in demanding conditions: precise and easy to handle when changing direction even on steep couloirs and hard pack. An eye to downhill performance is undeniable, but even uphill the lightness of the structure does not tire the leg more than it should. A ski that maintains handling throughout the arc, guaranteeing insane control. Carbon and fiberglass cover the wood core giving it high torsional rigidity. On the other hand, if we talk about descent, control and management are essential. The highly layered 14 Layer Control technology makes the difference. The light wood core is supported by more resistant woods that improve its strength without compromising the low weight of the tool. Cornering is quick and intuitive. The structure, designed to weigh little, is further lightened by specially inserted air channels. A ski that responds immediately to commands and is well suited to the needs of the most advanced ski mountaineers.

We Like: A complete model. The brand also designed Bernina, the female version for lighter bodies.
