From downhill to walking, it’s a very passepartout shoe

Tecnica Magma S GTX

More info

This is what we call an agile shoe: tapered and minimal, it guarantees protection and grip on any type of terrain. The tread is designed to be multi-traction and has been created along the lines of the wheels of enduro mountain bikes. The sole, powered by Vibram Litebase technology with Megagrip rubber compound, guarantees optimal grip on any type of trails. Grip, acceleration and even traction on difficult terrains are maximized thanks to the rocker midsole, which is more curved in the heel and toe area, while the rounded shape around the toes improves the responsiveness of the shoe, which responds instantly. This is very important especially when it comes to moving at full speed, or on difficult slopes: Tecnica’s Magma S GTX is the right shoe for downhill, the widened sole on the heel with XO Shield technology ensures a great stability even in critical conditions, on technical traverses or when running downhill. These shoes give you back a feeling of maximum safety and grip when running. On the back of the shoe there are two rubber stability wings which are a kind of hand brake even in case of gravel roads or loose rocks on the path. Downhill performance and shock absorption are the most noticeable things about these fast hiking shoes, but they are also perfect for quieter situations. The upper in water repellent polyamide fabric makes them waterproof and suitable for running or walking even in the event of rain or when there’s mud.
