TN in the name stands for Tomoa Narasaki, the Japanese climber who te-sted the new Unparallel Pro model. That’s is already a synonymous with guarantee. These climbing shoes are designed for those who know what they’re doing on the wall. Female version of the classic TN Pro, that’s exactly what it looks like, a shoe for true pros: the heel sling design, wrapped out of RH rubber, makes the wall holds exceptionally stable. Durability is a crucial factor in climbing shoes and we must say that TN have given us particular satisfaction from this point of view because the thickness of the sole is 3.5mm, more than the average of soft rubber shoes and therefore they get worn out less quickly. To balance the softness of the rubber, the midsole is rigid: this, combined with the heel design, allows for rather aggressive flexes, suitable for smaller grips. Thanks to the rounded tip, this model is agile even on steep overhangs, where it is important to be comfortable both in the heel holds and in toes ones. It also allows you to have a wider margin of error on the movements of the foot, which is particularly useful in competitions or indoor climbing. The fact that it ensures excellent performance, both on indoor walls and for bouldering, does not mean that it cannot be worn even by those who are not pros: the only thing to note is that the fit is very tight, so you have to force a little to let your foot in, but once you put the shoe you won’t feel constricted at all.

We Like: Maximum grip even in the most overhanging holds
