Theragun: Therabody is born, the percussive therapy with the new devices

The American company launches the fourth generation Theragun Pro, Theragun Elite, Theragun Prime and Theragun Mini devices on the market.

Theragun, a leading Californian percussion therapy company, presents Therabody, a rebranding of the famous muscle recovery device. Therabody now incorporates the new fourth generation Theragun devices, in addition to a new line of creams – TheraOne – which will be available in Italy during 2020.

The four new devices, Theragun Pro, Theragun Elite, Theragun Prime and Theragun Mini, are designed for different consumer needs.

It was the year 2016 when Dr. Jason Wersland, a chiropractor in Los Angeles, had the brilliant idea of inventing a portable device for percussive therapy after a serious motorcycle accident, a practice particularly suitable for athletes who need a faster muscle recovery.

With the new devices, the company took an important leap forward, making percussive therapy within everyone’s reach. Dr. Wersland’s goal has always been to support not only athletes, but also people who need constant treatment to relieve muscle pain due to poor posture. The fourth generation devices are now smarter, more customised and quieter than ever before, thanks in part to the different speeds, the force meter and the use specific pre-sets. The brand new, internally designed brushless motor uses QuietForce Technology to deliver remarkable power and speed.
