Thule presents Thule Tepui roof tents on the market

The company’s proposal dedicated to outdoor and travel lovers is enriched with a new product line: Thule Tepui, now introduced in the Italian market.

The marketing of the line follows the acquisition of Californian Tepui Outdoors Inc., founded in 2010 by Evan and Gabriela Currid who, during a trek in Venezuela, had the idea of introducing the concept of “rooftop camping” to a new and wider consumer target. In order to make the experience of camping in nature accessible even to the less experienced, the two founders began to develop rooftop tents that would allow everyone to go on adventures immersed in nature, minimizing the difficulties and discomforts due to the terrain and climate. In December 2018, Thule Group announced the acquisition of Tepui Outdoors Inc., which is part of the group’s broader offering, already a leader in the outdoor sector and with a significant presence in the camping and RV (recreational vehicles) category. The acquisition aims to create new synergies and ease of purchase and use for consumers, with the objective of increasing awareness and expanding the brand’s presence in this segment.

The products marketed on the Italian market are Tepui Explorer, in the three versions Autana, Ayer and Kukenam, and Tepui Hybox.
