VIBRAM IS ECOTRAIL PARIS TECHNICAL PARTNER

Vibram has announced the new partnership as a Technical Sponsor of EcoTrail Paris Ile de France.

This new partnership strengthens the presence and support of Vibram in the world of trail running competitions, with a focus, in this case, on the urban trail world. The Italian company therefore aims to the city run, with the technical and performance-oriented approach that has made Vibram and its Megagrip compound the “best in class” solution in the off-road world.

“Vibram aims to highlight how even the typical aspects of trail environments in metropolitan areas can be insidious and therefore require specific performance.” explains Jerome Bernard, Sport Marketing Innovation Global Director Vibram, then he continues: “In situations of rain or snow, the mud, the dirt and asphalt sections, the stairways and bridges become particularly slippery. Downhill as uphill, to “stand up” and run with efficiency, Vibram soles can become a valuable ally for runners in the urban area. We think about both to those who run aiming for the result, and to those aiming to reach the finish line of the competition and to classify as finisher”.

During the EcoTrail Paris Vibram will organize the traditional international meeting of the athletes of the Vibram Trailrunning Team, with elite athletes like the Lithuanian Gediminas Grinius (winner of the Ultra Trail World Tour 2016), the Basque Javier Dominguez Ledo (winner and record at the Tor des Géants 2017), the French Juliette Blanchet (sixth last year at the EcoTrail Paris) and the Swiss Roberto Delorenzi (Junior World Champion Skyrace 2018).

The company will also bring the Vibram Sole Factor Mobile Lab to the Ville Lumière, a “wheeled” lab that will offer to everyone the opportunity to discover and test first hand the latest technologies developed by the brand, including Vibram Megagrip and the latest Vibram Litebase, designed with the aim of significantly reducing the weight of the sole, without sacrificing grip, traction and wear resistance.
