Wave Rider 24 & Mizuno Enerzy: pure energy!

Runners’ favorite shoe has been redesigned with the latest Mizuno technology: Mizuno Enerzy, which offers more cushioning and high responsiveness.

The Japanese brand, historically recognized for its technical level of research and development on sports-specific footwear and apparel, presents a new midsole construction that combines Mizuno Enerzy with Mizuno Wave, making this new Wave Rider with 17% more cushioning and 15% more energy return, offering greater responsiveness than the previous model.

The Wave Rider 24 is suitable for runners with neutral support who want a shoe that is suitable for every use and offers a propulsive feel at every step. It provides a smoother and more efficient running experience and comfort thanks to the integration of the Mizuno Enerzy’s softness and the stability and responsiveness of the Mizuno Wave.

Mizuno Enerzy was developed with the goal of improving performance capacity and providing athletes with more energy conservation during the support phase, so they can express it during the pushing phase providing an overall more comfortable feeling.

This new technology is the result of the experience of Mizuno Crosssport, which has allowed us to study and analyze the benefits of “rebound” and, combined with the Mizuno Wave concept, offer a unique combination of cushioning and stability.

The upper is designed to improve comfort and fit. The wrap-around tongue integrated into the upper ensures a better fit. The instep has been redesigned and rounded for a secure fit at the medial and heel level; the soft Engineered Mesh upper ensures breathability and temperature regulation.
