The restyling blends tradition and digital: the historic company from Ziano di Fiemme is launching a new visual identity that will debut with the Spring/Summer 2027 collection, charting the course toward a century of history.
The mountains don’t change, but the way we look at them does. This is the spirit with which La Sportiva, a global benchmark for mountaineering, climbing, and outdoor enthusiasts, has decided to usher in a new era of its history. During the latest International Sales Meeting, the Val di Fiemme-based company revealed a profound evolution of its brand that will officially kick off with the Spring/Summer 2027 collection. This isn’t a sudden revolution, but a natural journey designed to carry the brand toward the major milestone of a century in business, which will be celebrated in 2028.
The goal is clear: to make the company’s image more contemporary, clean, and digital-friendly, without compromising the authenticity and technical rigor that have made its products famous in over 87 countries worldwide.
At the heart of this change is the logo restyling. The design has been streamlined, but its soul remains tied to the land: the stylized profile is that of Cimon della Pala, the Dolomite peak that has always symbolized the deep bond between the company and its homeland. The new visual identity highlights the brand’s iconic yellow and introduces more dynamic typography, capable of visually expressing the concept of verticality, performance, and the constant upward drive that motivates every climber.
“Continuity is not a form of passive conservation, but the ability to evolve while keeping your identity intact,” explained Lorenzo Delladio, President and CEO of La Sportiva. “With this evolution, we want to look to the future with courage, staying true to our mountain culture, our community, and our idea of innovation.”
This transformation won’t stop at the logo; it will progressively touch every aspect of the brand starting from the Fall/Winter 2026 season. A new global communication platform will be introduced, and even the face of physical stores will change, with a new retail format designed to make enthusiasts feel like part of a true high-altitude community.
The graphic and strategic project is the result of international synergy: the logo design was handled by the Italian creative firm The Branding Letters, while the development of the communication platform and global campaigns was entrusted to the British agency Mynt.
This is a major strategic step that goes hand in hand with the company’s growth, led today by the Delladio family alongside the next generations. Future plans include significant local investment and the expansion of the Ziano di Fiemme headquarters. The inauguration of the new, expanded facility will take place in 2028. A concrete way to celebrate the centenary, proving that even when looking toward the future and global markets, roots firmly planted in the rock remain the most important value.
